I liked everything, price is low for what this hotel has to offer!
Good location for excursions towards the City of Essen and the Rurh. Excellent service, hotel seems well managed. Very professional and helpfull staff. Nice swimming pool / sauna
nice room, good breakfast, large pool
staff in pool area very unfriendly
The restaurant and bar staff were most attentive and professional. The Hotel clearly hit its spot of being an adjunct to the show industry.
Good hotel close to Messe, good rooms, friendly staff
Good breakfast, clean rooms, availability of the conference rooms, fast check-out
No air conditioner in the room, narrow beds, outdated tv
Nothing, really. Two separate elevators need to be taken just in order to get to the room...and that's just the begining.
Uncomfortable and very old-fashioned room, broken shower, non-free parking (no other choice), expensive internet (8 Euro an hour) and all at a price of 99 Euro for a single room, not so clean??? No thanks - one of the worst value-for-money experiences I had.
Kurt, the bartender, was Wonderful! He remembered what we drank, and made us feel right at home. The staff was excellent, the service, the food, everything was wonderful. Thank you!!The hotel might be a bit on the older side but everyone and everything was so wonderful it made our 5 day stay for a business conference a pleasure!!
Location is perfect for the Messe Essen exhibition centre, being an easy 10 mins walk. The hotel is a very good business type hotel with very good & effeicient staff, most of whom speak English. The location is a little lacking in atmosphere, being within a business park. It is right at a junction of one of Essen's main motorways, so is very easy to get to by car.
Everything was well done and I enjoyed the stay, there was an excellent breakfast and i enjoyed the pool and sauna. I felt that the gym could have done with some addition improvements and more equipment.
Gym but only in terms of improvement.
The breakfast and the restaurant were excellent. All staff was extremely friendly and deserves big compliments - reception, restaurant, and breakfast room.
Bathroom supplies did not include individual soap, shampoo, conditioner. Rather, the hotel supplied a mounted bottle of combination soap/shampoo which was very harsh. This is reminiscent of cheap hotels and not suitable for a several day stay.
Friendly staff, clean, good breakfast & special game room for Spielmesse guests.
There should have been free wireless internet access in the room.
The game room in 2nd floor was excellent, thank you! One thing that would have made it even better is having the tables waited, even once per hour. Now if you wanted something you had to go down to restaurant yourself.
The only one who had free rooms.
It was too expencive. I live a lot in simular hotels in Berlin which has a better standard and fare lower prices, even in the high traffic.
You have to pay for everything. Internet is 8 euros each hour, free in the lobby but only for 30'. Parking is not included (actually you cannot leave the car out so you have to pay).
